Try a Driving Experience at a Racetrack for an Unforgettable Day Out

BMW - Ultimate Driving Experience

If you’re looking for something a little different for your man for Father’s Day, Christmas or a birthday, something that will last in the memory and is guaranteed to put a smile on your partners face, look no further than a drive in a supercar, or for the ultimate driving experience, a drive in a real ex Formula 1 car. Diving experiences come in a variety of guises and here we’ll take a look at five of the top supercar experiences available today.

Ferrari 360

Probably the favourite for most is the Ferrari Driving Experience, although there is a choice of different Ferrari’s available, by far the most popular is the Ferrari 360 Modena. Built between 1999 and 2005, the F360 was a replacement for the F355. Produced with an new all-aluminium space-frame chassis, the F360 is widely regarded as one of the best Ferrari’s to drive. Powered by a 3.6 litre V8 that gives it a top speed of 183 mph it’s little wonder why this Ferrari tops most peoples wish list.

Lamborghini Gallardo

The Lamborghini Gallardo, with a price tag tesla accessories of over £130,000, has been a favourite with Premiership footballers and pop stars since its launch in 2003. Dripping with Italian style, this beast has 500 bhp, push your foot to the floor and the engine will growl and howl up to a top speed of 196 mph so it’s not that surprising why so many people choose the Lamborghini experience as their perfect gift.

Aston Martin

With James Bond as your number one celebrity driver, no wonder so many people love Aston Martin. Exuding power, high performance and exclusivity, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a stunning piece of mechanical engineering and that’s before you look at its gorgeous styling. Hand stitched leather and a cockpit to “live and let die” for, make the Aston an extremely popular experience gift.

Ariel Atom

This one’s for the hardcore petrol head, no doors, no roof – no compromise. 2.7 seconds is all it takes for the Atom to launch from a standstill to 60 mph, accelerating faster than either the Ferrari or the Lamborghini. Jeremy Clarkson described driving the Atom as motoring Nirvana, indeed, in his summary he is quoted as saying the Atom is “A blast of fresh air – motoring at its frenzied best”.

Formula 1

This is the big one. A full day driving a variety of cars, from sports saloons to single seaters, Ferrari’s to Formula 3, all topped off with a 10 mile drive in a real ex Formula 1 car. It may be more expensive, but this driving experience really is a once in a lifetime experience. After your F1 drive, overnight accommodation is provided (including dinner & breakfast) for yourself plus one guest.
